12"x24" Carrara Gray Polished Marble Tile | 18mm Thickness Natural Stone Floor & Wall Tile

Technical Specifications

Engineering Caliber & Secure Packaging Standards

Substantial 18mm Architectural Thickness: Unlike standard commercial tiles that measure a thin 10mm, our 12"x24" Carrara Gray Polished Marble Tile is cut to a heavy-duty 0.6"–0.7" (~18mm) solid thickness. Weighing approx. 19.85 lbs per piece, this extra mass provides superior structural density, high resistance to thermal expansion, and optimal acoustic dampening underfoot across high-traffic residential foyers and luxury commercial settings.
Carton Coverage & Jobsite Ordering Guidelines: Every custom-engineered box measures 26.77" x 14.96" x 8.07" and securely houses 4 individual pieces, delivering exactly 8 sq. ft. of net coverage per package. Engineered with high-density protective foam armor, each box is stabilized to withstand long-distance domestic freight. Important Planning Advice: Because natural marble requires precision cutting around drain outlets, wall corners, and architectural borders, we strongly advise ordering a 10% to 15% overage allowance above your room's net square footage to account for installation cuts and future maintenance spares.

Authentic Stone Character & Factory Quality Control

Organic Veining & Tonal Spectrum: Genuine Carrara Gray marble is celebrated for its dynamic visual movement. As demonstrated in this 18-piece flat layout, each tile presents a distinct composition of silvery-gray background tones interwoven with dramatic charcoal veining, soft cloudy mottling, and linear calcite streaks. These natural variations ensure that every completed installation becomes an exclusive architectural original.

Factory Dry-Lay QC & Color Grading: Before final boxing, our factory master inspectors lay out hundreds of newly cut tiles in continuous rows along our inspection floor. Slabs are manually sorted, shade-matched, and aligned for visual continuity to minimize drastic tonal breaks across your shipment.

Mass Production Quality Assurance: Panoramic perspective views of our staging facility highlight the scale of our production quality control. Slabs undergo rigorous dimensional checks, edge-rectification verifications, and surface gloss readings prior to international dispatch to our US distribution hubs.

Unfiltered Sights from Our Factory Floor: We believe in complete transparency. The video footage above provides an authentic, unedited preview of our Carrara Gray marble tiles resting on our factory floor. You can observe the genuine stone sheen, realistic vein dispersion, and organic color depth exactly as crafted by nature.

Care, Sealing & Maintenance Standards

Proper care ensures that natural polished marble retains its lustrous finish and deep color character for generations:

• Penetrating Sealer Application: Natural marble is porous and must be treated with a high-performance penetrating (impregnating) stone sealer upon installation, prior to grouting. Sealing creates an invisible barrier that prevents liquid absorption and staining.
• pH-Neutral Cleaning Routine: Daily maintenance requires only a soft cloth or mop paired with warm water and a specialized pH-neutral natural stone cleaner.
• Acidic Substance Protection: Strictly avoid acidic household cleaners containing vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or harsh scouring powders. Acidic compounds chemically etch polished calcium carbonate surfaces, dulling the mirror finish.
• Periodic Sealer Maintenance: Re-apply a penetrating sealer every 12 to 24 months, depending on moisture exposure and foot traffic in primary bath or foyer settings.

2. Standard Returns (Change of Mind & Natural Variations)

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If an item is not the right fit for your project, we accept standard returns under the conditions outlined below.

Important Note on Natural Stone Variations: Authenticity and material truth are fundamental at Luxury Marble Craft. All product imagery on our website represents real natural marble harvested from the earth. Natural stone inherently features unique veining patterns, subtle tonal shifts, natural pores, and individual character lines. No two pieces are identical. We encourage our customers to celebrate these natural characteristics as proof of genuine marble.

Classification: Return requests based on dissatisfaction with natural stone variations (such as specific veining preferences or shade differences) or general change of mind are classified as Standard Returns. If your project requires absolute uniformity, we kindly advise reviewing product specifications carefully prior to ordering.

Return Conditions & Process:

• Eligibility: Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and packed securely in their original packaging.
• Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return freight and shipping costs to our designated US fulfillment facility.
