Cloudy Blue Natural Marble Coffee Table — Round Polished 27.6" × 12.6" Statement Centerpiece

The Cloudy Blue Marble Coffee Table by Luxury Marble Craft is a single-piece round centerpiece cut from 100% natural marble slabs. Measuring 27.6 inches (70 cm) in diameter and 12.6 inches (32 cm) in height, it features a precision-polished surface and a base composed of two independent upright marble panels standing perpendicular to one another without touching. Engineered for living rooms, lounges, master bedrooms, and grand entryways, this piece serves equally as a coffee table, a sofa-front centerpiece, or a low foyer display table.

What makes this table genuinely irreplaceable is the rarity of its color palette. Cloudy Blue marble is a niche stratum within the natural blue-gray marble family — a stone whose formation took millions of years of mineral compression to produce its characteristic cloud-like white veining over a soft slate-blue base. Each tabletop is cut from a different slab, with veining density varying between units, mineral patches ranging from deep charcoal to muted emerald, and base tones shifting subtly between cool slate and warmer pewter. The polished finish, achieved through a multi-stage progression, brings out a mirror-grade reflection, durable enough for daily use with standard stone sealing every 6–12 months.

Compact Footprint, Generous Presence

At 27.6 inches in diameter, this table occupies the sweet spot of American living-room scale — substantial enough to anchor a sofa grouping, yet compact enough to navigate around in apartments under 1,000 square feet. The 12.6-inch height aligns precisely with standard American sofa seat height that interior designers identify as the ergonomic ideal for reaching drinks, books, or remote controls without leaning. Tabletop thickness is engineered for structural integrity, while each base panel is positioned independently beneath the tabletop to distribute weight evenly across two contact zones. Total assembled weight ranges between 81–84 lbs (37–38 kg), reflecting the density of solid natural stone construction throughout.

Nine Surfaces, Nine Singular Compositions — A Quick Note Before You Buy

The nine tabletops shown above are all the same product — same quarry, same cut, same polish — yet no two share identical veining, color saturation, or mineral distribution. Some lean cooler, with pronounced slate-blue bases and dense white river-vein patterns; others lean warmer, with smoky charcoal pooling and softer cloud-like dispersions. A few feature dramatic deep-emerald mineral inclusions; others show subtle, almost watercolor-like transitions.

Please read this carefully before placing your order: Cloudy Blue is a 100% natural marble, and its base color and veining are inherently unpredictable. Variation between units can be significant — base tones may range from light blue-gray to deep slate, and veining patterns may vary from photographs. If you require a piece that matches a reference image exactly, or if natural color variation feels unacceptable, we respectfully ask you to reconsider this purchase. What you receive will be uniquely yours — but it will not be a replica of any photo. This honesty matters to us, and we believe it should matter to you too.

One Table, Five Architectural Languages

Above, the Cloudy Blue Marble Coffee Table is shown across five distinct interior contexts. In a traditional American sitting room, the cool slate tones quiet the warmth of antique brass accents and family-portrait silverware, acting as a tonal anchor. Moved into a wood-paneled gentleman's library, the same marble shifts in perception — backlit by amber library glow, its veining reads as oxidized silver running through pewter, complementing leather Chesterfield armchairs and Persian carpets. In a grand mansion foyer, the table transforms again, this time serving as a low pedestal for a floral statement piece, its blue undertones cooled by limestone flooring and softened by daylight. Against a dramatic dark-mood interior with black velvet sofas and matte concrete flooring, the marble's white veining becomes the room's primary light source, reading almost luminous. And in a coastal beach house, the same stone aligns with ocean and sky — its blues echoing the horizon, its whites the sea-foam.

What this collage proves is not that the table is "versatile" in a generic sense — it is that the marble itself behaves differently under different light spectrums, different surrounding palettes, and different design vocabularies. The stone is the constant; the room is the variable.

Same Marble, Five More Worlds

This second scene extends the visual evidence further. In a Japanese tatami room beneath a rice-paper lantern, the table's mineral imperfections find rhetorical alignment with wabi-sabi philosophy — the celebration of asymmetry, weathering, and natural incompleteness. In an English garden conservatory, sunlight refracts through French doors and skims the polished surface, lifting the cooler tones into something almost porcelain-like beside bone china teacups. In an urban high-rise above a metropolitan skyline, the marble feels architectural, almost monolithic, set against soft-white modular sofas and floor-to-ceiling glass — a piece of the earth deliberately placed at altitude. Within an industrial loft of exposed brick, oxidized Edison bulbs, and worn leather, the same stone develops weight, gravitas, even patina by association. And in a darkened gallery space lit only by track lighting, the table reads as sculpture — a study in mass, surface, and the cold refraction of polished mineral.

Section Summary — A Centerpiece for Singular Rooms

This single table reads coherently across more than ten interior design vocabularies — Scandinavian, Mid-Century, Art Deco, Coastal, Japandi, Bohemian, Traditional, Contemporary, Industrial, and English Country. It is, in our experience, the rare furniture object that does not impose a style but rather receives and amplifies the style around it. Pair It with the 45cm Companion — A Layered Composition

For a more dynamic arrangement, the 27.6-inch (70 cm) Cloudy Blue Coffee Table can be paired with its 17.7-inch (45 cm) Side Table counterpart — cut from the same Cloudy Blue marble stratum — to create a nesting or staggered-height grouping. The smaller piece sits taller and slightly forward, the larger sits lower and slightly behind, producing the kind of casual asymmetry that interior designers identify as the hallmark of curated rather than catalog-furnished spaces. The two pieces share the same twin-panel base architecture and the same polished finish, yet because each tabletop carries its own veining signature, the pair reads as related but not matching — a composition rather than a set.

We've made this pairing available as a bundle for less than the cost of purchasing each piece separately. Shop the 45 cm + 70 cm Cloudy Blue Coffee Table Set →

Engineered Packaging — Why Less Than 0.3% of Our Tables Arrive Damaged

Shipping natural stone is one of the most fragility-sensitive logistics challenges in furniture e-commerce. Our packaging protocol has been refined over multiple iterations to address it directly.

Each table is sealed within a custom-molded multi-layer EPS foam matrix: the tabletop nests within a precision-cut circular cavity in the top foam layer; the two upright base panels nest within separately-molded rectangular cavities beneath; an additional removable circular foam plug seals the tabletop cavity from above; the accessory pack (containing 8 stainless steel washers, 8 screws, and 1 hex key) is positioned on the uppermost layer for immediate access on opening. The entire assembly is then enclosed in a five-wall corrugated carton with reinforced edge corners.

This packaging engineering reflects what shipping from a US warehouse means in practice — your order doesn't transit international freight before reaching you. It moves domestically, with reduced handling stops, faster delivery windows (typically 5–10 business days), and lower probability of damage in transit.

🛠️ Assembly — Designed for Two People, Engineered for Simplicity

Assembly requires no specialized tools beyond the included hex key. The process involves placing the inverted tabletop face-down on the lower foam tray (to protect the polished surface), positioning the two independent base panels at their designated marked locations on the tabletop's underside, securing each panel with 4 washers and 4 screws (8 total), and then flipping the assembled table upright. Total assembly time averages 15–20 minutes. Two adults are required for the flip and final positioning steps — the assembled weight makes solo handling unsafe for both the user and the stone.

Watch the Video Walkthrough

We've filmed a complete assembly walkthrough: View Assembly Video →

A quick note on the video: it was filmed using our 90cm Coffee Table rather than the 70 cm size. Every round coffee table on this website shares the exact same structural architecture and assembly method — only the diameter changes. The 45cm side tables are small enough for solo assembly; the 70cm and 90cm coffee tables both require two adults. We've therefore produced two video versions only — one for the small format, one for the large format — and they apply universally across all marble colorways within each size class.

If you're considering a lower and broader profile than the 70 cm offers — perhaps to anchor a larger sectional or to create a more substantial visual presence in a great room — the 90 cm Cloudy Blue Coffee Table (the exact piece featured in the video) is available here: View the 90 cm Cloudy Blue Coffee Table →

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How is the Cloudy Blue Marble Coffee Table packaged for shipping?

The table arrives in a single five-wall corrugated carton with EPS foam protection internally. The tabletop sits in a precision-molded circular cavity, the two upright base panels nest in separate rectangular cavities, and the accessory pack (8 washers, 8 screws, 1 hex key) is positioned on the top layer for immediate access.

Q: How many people are required to assemble this 70 cm coffee table?

Two adults are required. The table weighs approximately 81–84 lbs (37–38 kg), single-person assembly risks damage to the polished surface, injury to the user, and structural strain on the marble during the flip-and-position phase. Plan 15–20 minutes for full assembly.

Q: What tools are included, and do I need anything else?

Every component required for assembly ships inside the accessory pack: 8 stainless steel washers, 8 screws, and 1 hex key. You do not need a drill, screwdriver, or any external hardware.

Q: Will my table look exactly like the photos?

No, and that is intentional. Cloudy Blue is 100% natural marble, meaning every tabletop is cut from a unique slab. Base color may range from light blue-gray to deep slate; veining patterns can vary from photographs; mineral inclusions and saturation will differ between units. If you require a precise color match to a reference image, this product is not suitable for you. If you appreciate that no other home on earth will own the exact piece you receive, you will love it.

Q: How do I clean and maintain a Cloudy Blue natural marble tabletop?

Wipe daily with a soft microfiber cloth and pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid all acidic substances — vinegar, lemon juice, wine, coffee, and citrus all etch natural marble within minutes of contact. Blot spills immediately rather than wiping. Reseal the surface with a penetrating stone sealer every 6–12 months depending on use intensity; high-traffic households should seal more frequently. Never place hot pans or beverages directly on the marble — use coasters and trivets at all times.

Q: What is the base structure of this table?

The base consists of two independent upright marble panels, positioned beneath the tabletop at perpendicular angles to one another. The two panels stand separately — they do not touch, interlock, or connect to each other. Each panel attaches independently to the tabletop's underside via 4 screws and 4 washers. This design distributes the tabletop's weight across two structural contact zones for stability while maintaining a visually light footprint.

Q: Is this table shipped from the United States?

Yes. All Cloudy Blue Marble Coffee Tables ship from our US warehouse, with typical delivery windows of 5–10 business days within the contiguous United States. Domestic shipping reduces handling, transit time, and risk of damage compared to direct-from-overseas alternatives.

Important Note on Natural Stone Variations: Authenticity and material truth are fundamental at Luxury Marble Craft. All product imagery on our website represents real natural marble harvested from the earth. Natural stone inherently features unique veining patterns, subtle tonal shifts, natural pores, and individual character lines. No two pieces are identical. We encourage our customers to celebrate these natural characteristics as proof of genuine marble.

Classification: Return requests based on dissatisfaction with natural stone variations (such as specific veining preferences or shade differences) or general change of mind are classified as Standard Returns. If your project requires absolute uniformity, we kindly advise reviewing product specifications carefully prior to ordering.
