Round Cloudy Blue Natural Marble Side Table, Polished finished, Ø17.7" × H 15.8" (Ø45 × H 40 cm)

The Cloudy Blue Marble Side Table — Defined

The Cloudy Blue Marble Side Table is a round 17.7-inch (45 cm) diameter accent table standing 15.8 inches (40 cm) tall, crafted from 100% natural marble with a polished surface. Its sculptural silhouette pairs a circular tabletop with two upright, freestanding pillar legs, forming a quietly architectural base. Designed for American living rooms, bedrooms, entryways, and bathrooms, it functions seamlessly as a side table, end table, or compact coffee table.

Quarried in limited blocks, the Cloudy Blue marble variety presents a soft gray-to-pearl ground washed with charcoal cloud-like veining and threadlike white capillaries—a stone pattern that reads almost like a watercolor painting captured in stone. Every tabletop is cut from a different section of the block, which is precisely why no two pieces look the same. Shipped from our US warehouse for fast delivery.

Anchored in Scale — Dimensions That Fit American Living

Designed around the dimensions American homes actually use, this side table measures Ø17.7 inches (45 cm) in diameter and 15.8 inches (40 cm) in height—a profile engineered to slot neatly beside sofa, sit flush as a low nightstand, or anchor a tight reading corner without overwhelming the floor plan. Tabletop reads as substantial yet visually light, while the two slab legs (each cut from solid stone) lend pedestal-like presence without the bulk of a single block base.

This footprint reflects the most-searched size band among US shoppers for compact stone accent furniture, balancing usable surface area against the realities of urban apartments, open-plan layouts, and layered styling.

A Stone That Refuses to Repeat Itself — Please Read Before You Buy

Above are six photographs of six different Cloudy Blue Marble Side Tables—same model, same cut, same finish. Look closely: one leans nearly white with delicate web-fine veining, another deepens into smoky charcoal with bold serpentine currents, and a third shows mineral pooling that almost reads as fossil imprint. This is not a defect. This is the stone.

Cloudy Blue is among the most dramatically variable natural marbles in our collection. Background tone can shift from light dove gray to deep storm gray. Veining intensity ranges from feather-soft to high-contrast and graphic. Mineral inclusions—those dark crystalline pockets—may appear concentrated on one piece and absent on another. Color and pattern variations are characteristic of 100% natural marble and celebrate its geological authenticity rather than mass-produced uniformity.

⚠️ A direct word to design-minded buyers: If you require a furniture piece that matches a specific reference photograph exactly, or if predictable, uniform stone patterning is important to your project, the Cloudy Blue variety may not be the right fit. We recommend reviewing this collection only if you welcome the surprise inherent to natural materials.

One Table, Endless Rooms — A Study in Versatility

The photograph above documents five distinct interior applications of the same table model, illustrating its programmatic flexibility across the modern American home:

Bedside Nightstand — Positioned beside an oak platform bed in a warm Japandi-inflected bedroom, the table reads as a sculptural nightstand. The polished surface provides a stable plinth for a ceramic vessel and seasonal stem; its 40 cm height aligns near-perfectly with standard mattress profiles for ergonomic nighttime reach.

Entryway Console — Set against a tadelakt-finished plaster wall beneath a brass-rimmed circular mirror, the table becomes a focused foyer landing zone for hammered-brass trinket dish, keys, and incidentals. The stone's tonal complexity holds its own against the architecturally restrained envelope.

Paired Living Room Set — Two identical tables flank a curved ivory bouclé loveseat in symmetrical composition, creating a balanced lounge vignette atop a jute area rug. This pairing strategy—long favored by interior designers for elevating sofa-front geometries—transforms two compact accent pieces into an intentional architectural gesture.

Coffee Table Substitute — In an apartment-scale lounge, the table operates as a single low coffee table beside a curved bouclé chair, sized perfectly for an Architectural Digest issue and a morning espresso. The 17.7-inch diameter is large enough to host a styled vignette yet small enough not to dominate compressed urban floor plans.

Bathroom Étagère — Placed beside a freestanding white resin soaking tub, the table elevates folded waffle towels and an amber-glass bath oil to a spa-like ritual. Natural marble welcomes humidity beautifully when properly sealed every 6–12 months.

In summary: The Cloudy Blue Marble Side Table adapts across room typologies, design vocabularies, and styling intents—deployed individually as a focal accent or arranged in pairs for compositional symmetry. It is the ideal single piece for designers and homeowners building one-of-a-kind interiors. For additional styling references, please scroll through the curated image gallery at the top of this product page—we have assembled multiple lifestyle vignettes across distinct interior styles to inspire your own application.

Build the Full Composition — Pair with the 70 cm Coffee Table

For larger living rooms where a single 45 cm side table reads too small for the sofa scale, we offer the same Cloudy Blue marble variety in a 70 cm (27.5-inch) diameter coffee table—designed specifically to pair with this 45 cm side table as a high-low duo. The two tables share identical material provenance, identical hand-polished finish, and identical twin-slab pillar geometry. Positioned together as shown above, the height differential (15.8 in. and 12.6 in. respectively) creates the layered, gallery-like composition currently favored by editorial interiors.

Purchasing the 45 cm + 70 cm coffee table set together is more cost-effective than buying each piece individually. View the bundled set here: Cloudy Blue Natural Marble 45 cm + 70 cm Coffee Table Set

Engineered to Arrive Intact — Protective Packaging

Natural marble is dense, beautiful, and—shipped poorly—vulnerable. Our internal packaging protocol was developed specifically for cross-country US freight:

• Layer 1 — Outer corrugated double-wall carton with reinforced corners
• Layer 2 — Top molded foam cap with die-cut accessory cavity (hex key + screws + washers pre-organized)
• Layer 3 — Circular foam well custom-molded to cradle the 17.7-inch tabletop with zero side-to-side play
• Layer 4 — Inner secondary foam barrier that suspends the tabletop above the leg compartment
• Layer 5 — Two die-cut leg cavities keeping the upright slab legs immobilized during transit

We ship from our US warehouse for fast domestic delivery. We operate as a direct-to-consumer specialist rather than through traditional retail channels, savings from removed middleman markups are reinvested into packaging quality, freight insurance, and customer support.

Assembly in Under 15 Minutes — Designed for the Solo Installer

Assembly is genuinely simple and requires no specialized tools beyond the hex key included in your accessory pack. The two upright pillar legs attach to the underside of the tabletop with eight pre-positioned screws and washers—total assembly time averages 15 minutes for a single person working without prior experience.

Visual learners, please reference our installation video: Watch the 45 cm Marble Side Table Assembly Video

📌 Note on the assembly video: The marble variety featured in the demonstration video is not Cloudy Blue—it is a different marble color from our 45 cm collection. However, every 45 cm side table in our collection shares an identical structural design and identical assembly process, regardless of marble variety. The video applies universally to all 45 cm models.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What exactly comes inside the box, and what tools will I need to assemble this side table?

Your shipment includes one polished marble tabletop, two upright marble pillar legs, and an accessory pack containing 8 stainless steel screws, 8 washers, and 1 hex key. No additional tools, drills, or hardware are required. Assembly takes approximately 15 minutes for one adult.

Q: How do I unbox and assemble the table without scratching the polished marble surface?

Open the carton and remove the accessory pack first. Lift out the top foam layer, then carefully extract the two pillar legs (set them metal-plate-side-down on a soft surface). Next, remove the secondary foam layer and the circular foam plug to reveal the tabletop. Lift the tabletop gently with both hands and place it face-down on the first foam layer—this protects the polished face during leg attachment. Position each leg vertically onto its corresponding plate on the tabletop's underside, insert the washers, and tighten screws with the hex key. Flip the assembled table upright. Detailed step-by-step diagrams are available in the downloadable PDF on this page.

Q: Why must the tabletop be placed face-down on the original foam during assembly?

The polished marble surface is the most vulnerable element of the table. Placing it directly on hard flooring—hardwood, tile, or concrete—during assembly risks micro-scratches, edge chips, or scuff marks from grit on the floor. The packaging foam was engineered to double as an assembly cradle: it elevates the tabletop, distributes pressure evenly across the back face, and shields the polished perimeter throughout the attachment process.

Q: How do I clean and maintain a 100% natural marble side table?

Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water, applied with a soft microfiber cloth. Wipe spills immediately—especially acidic substances like wine, citrus juice, coffee, or vinegar, which can etch unsealed marble within minutes. Avoid bleach, ammonia, and conventional household cleaners. Reseal the surface with a quality stone sealer every 6 to 12 months to maintain stain resistance. With proper care, natural marble develops a refined patina over decades of use.

Q: Are the variations in color and veining between units a quality issue?

No. Color tone, veining pattern, vein density, and mineral inclusion distribution will vary significantly between individual units of Cloudy Blue marble. These variations are inherent to 100% natural stone formed over geological timescales—they are the defining characteristic that distinguishes authentic marble from engineered quartz or printed reproductions.

Q: Can this table be used outdoors, on a covered patio, or in a bathroom?

Indoor use is recommended for daily aesthetics, but the table performs excellently in bathrooms (when sealed every 6 months to handle humidity) and on fully covered, weather-protected porches. Avoid direct rain exposure, prolonged UV sun exposure, and freeze-thaw cycles—these conditions can compromise both the polished finish and structural integrity of any natural marble piece.

Q: How is the table shipped, and how long does delivery typically take within the United States?

The table ships from our US warehouse via standard ground freight in our protective packaging system. Typical delivery is 3 to 7 business days from order confirmation. Each carton ships with full handling documentation and insurance coverage. Tracking information is provided within 24 hours of dispatch.

We encourage our customers to celebrate these natural characteristics as proof of genuine marble.
